"Heroine" starring Kareena Kapoor and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar is a "contemporary film which reveals the underbelly of the film industry and its well-kept secrets. Madhur considers Heroine his magnum opus and Kareena has been cast to play the lead role of Mahi Khanna. Shooting for Heroine began over the weekend (Nov 26, 2011) in grand style.
